Referee Program Information
How do I schedule an Entry Level Referee Training class?
- Email Jeanne Turner DDI to let her know you are interested in hosting a class at: jtsoccerref@hotmail.com
- Secure a room that will seat 25 students with tables and chairs, VCR, TV and DVD player, chalk or white board.
- Set dates and times... must equal 18 hours and be last at least three days with a test day to follow. Jeanne will line up an Instructor.
- Email the above information to Jeanne ASAP so I post it on the District 9 web site.
- Your League sends a check for $270 payable to: CNRA, before the class begins to Jeanne Turner DDI, 405 Mill St. Mt. Shasta, Calif. 96067
- Order your books at least 3 weeks early. Send and email to me with your number of books requested. That same day you also need to send a check for $6.50 per set/per student payable to CNRA to: Jeanne Turner DDI, 405 Mill St. Mt Shasta, Calif. 96067
Sending the Class check and the book check at the same time is very helpful to me
When the students pass the class there will be $25 check needed from each student payable to CNRA. You may charge more than that if you want your students to also pay for their books and a portion of the class fee. However, anything over the $25 will need to be on a separate check payable to your League. Students should be at least 12 years old.

Referee Course Schedule in Red Bluff
Course to be held July 15-23
The class is limited the the first 30 people who register. Cost is free. But for those who pass the class, there will be a $40 fee to register with the Referee Association. Anyone interested in registering for the class to contact Mike Massa at mmassa@aol.com or 624-4996.
The dates and times are as follows:
- Tuesday, July 15 6-9 PM
- Wednesday July 16 6-9 PM
- Thursday July 17 6-9 PM
- Monday July 21 6-9 PM
- Tuesday July 22 6-9 PM
- Wednesday July 23 6-9 PM
- Test to be scheduled by class, but probably July 25th
The location will be the Search and Rescue Building in Red Bluff
Referee Course Schedule by Shasta Lake Youth Soccer
August course to be held at Redding Soccer Park
Shasta Lake Youth Soccer will be holding an introductory referee course August 8th, 9th and 10 at the Redding Soccer Park. Course will be 5 pm to 9 pm on August 8th and 8 am to 4 pm on the 9th and 10th.
